SKULL SHAKERS

Skull Shakers was a music festival based in Las Vegas that focused primarily on the Metal genre. With this in mind, all of the designs associated with the event maintained a grungy, distressed aesthetic. A major component was working within a monochromatic color scheme as it would be more fitting with the genre. With metal, one of the main things I had to work around were the band logos, as they tend to be a bit brash or hard to read. This meant that the logos needed to be large on the design of the poster. This also helps the bands’ fans recognize whether their favorite band was going to be at the event.
